I Have Arrived

I have a tendency to notice everything except the things right in front of me. I’m not surprised.

After decades of working in organizations that jumped from one thing to the next, my mind learned to chronically look ahead. We were so busy planning our next steps that it left no room to acknowledge the progress we have already made. It felt like we were moving through a thick fog – uncertain of what we accomplished at the end of the day.

Exhausted from the hustle and grind, we wondered what the point was. What are we chasing here?

A pause to catch one's breath? Peace. A chance to delight in our successes? Satisfaction. An opportunity to laugh together? Connection.

Yet, our lives often ended up looking like this:

"Hurry up to rest"

"Hurry up to experience joy"

Ironic, isn’t it?

When I finally got over the fear to slow down, I learned a few things:

  • Nothing broke in my absence

  • Deep sleep made me a better problem solver

  • Not maximizing my day with meetings gave way to creative ideas

The truth is that ease and joy were already all around me. They were not destinations or things I could earn.

If you're seeking ease and joy, consider that you have already arrived.

You only need to extend your heart and reach for it.

💬 SO I WANT TO ASK YOU

Will you let joy into your life if it’s already at your door?

Will you put down the hustle if you have nothing to prove?

Need accountability to slow down long enough to experience this? Let’s explore together.
