Find clarity through authenticity,
momentum through gentleness.

Betty Chan is an authenticity keynote speaker, workshop facilitator, and coach who helps leaders and teams do meaningful work without losing themselves in the process.

As a first-generation Asian American, Betty spent years chasing the life she thought she was supposed to live—excelling, adapting, and quietly erasing herself along the way—until burnout pushed her to redefine success on her own terms. That unraveling became her return to authenticity.

Today, Betty helps individuals and organizations rewrite the internal and cultural narratives that tell people to stay small, stay hidden, or stay busy at all costs. Her keynotes and workshops create the kind of psychological safety where people feel seen enough to drop their armor so they can lead from who they actually are.

She speaks about authentic leadership, emotionally intelligent communication, and turning gentleness into an everyday superpower. Her sessions are story-rich, yet practical because real change doesn't happen from a slide deck. It happens when people feel moved enough to care and clear enough to act.

Betty has spoken and led workshops for global brands, ERGs, wellness committees, and leadership development programs, bringing with her over a decade of experience in people development, facilitation, and client services.

BETTER BOUNDARIES

How to Be Clear Without Being Cold

Boundaries often get mistaken for being uncaring, especially by young professionals. But good leadership and collaboration requires clear lines. This talk reframes boundaries not as barriers, but as bridges—tools that help us stay in integrity with ourselves and show up for others.

Ideal for:

Emerging leaders navigating burnout, teams experiencing blurred lines between work and life, or communication tension across departments.

AUTHENTIC LEADERSHIP

In high-pressure environments, urgency and perfectionism can easily take the lead, while quiet resistance (ours or someone else’s) slows things down. This talk introduces gentleness as a leadership strength, not a soft skill but a way to notice what’s unspoken, move through tension with clarity, and create the trust teams need to take risks and stay aligned.

Ideal for:

Leaders and teams looking to reduce friction, strengthen trust, and collaborate with less reactivity.

REDEFINING SUCCESS

What If You Got Everything You Want…And You Still Feel Empty?

Many of us chase success by the book (titles, salaries, accolades) only to arrive at the top feeling drained or disconnected. This talk invites audiences to rethink what success looks and feels like through the lens of values, energy, and emotional alignment. Because if it costs you your identity, your health, or your relationships—is it really success?

Ideal for:

Organizations looking to retain their best team members, or senior leaders and executives who want to embody healthy leadership.

Interactive, practical sessions designed to help teams practice authenticitynot just talk about it.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Decoding Emotions at Work

We’re often taught to manage emotions, not understand them. But emotions are valuable information. When we ignore or bypass them, we lose access to clarity, connection, and direction. This workshop gives participants a framework to pause with intention, and strategies to communicate without shutting down or blowing up.

Ideal for: Professionals who want to communicate with more calm and clarity, especially during conflict, feedback, or high-stress moments.

COMMUNICATION FOR MANAGERS

Listening for Impact

When conversations get hard, most of us default to fixing, defending, or disconnecting. But real trust is built through how we listen. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the three levels of listening, examine where bias sneaks in, and learn to stay present, especially when it’s uncomfortable. Because listening deeply isn’t just a skill. It’s an act of courage.

Ideal for: Teams navigating tension, feedback fatigue, or communication breakdowns. Leaders who want to create more trust, not more meetings.

INTENTIONAL GROWTH

Reflection Rooms

A space for teams to slow down strategically. Without intentional reflection, small misalignments become chronic patterns. Build a culture of reflection so leaders can move forward with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

Ideal for: Organizations that want to identify challenges earlier and foster authentic connection, or ERGs looking for meaningful community experiences.
